Professional salon brands are unbeatable for quality and are long lasting, if you use the correct amount that is (we are all very much guilty of this one). You will never achieve the same effects with a supermarket brand, I'm sorry ladies and gentlemen, but it's the cold hard truth.

First up, and easily the most recognisable brand around, is the one and only Kerastase. This luxury brand is known and loved by all. My favourite feature of the Kerastase range is the tailor-made in salon treatments Fusio Dose. Instant shots of goodness to instantly and lastingly transform the hair. Uniquely prescribed and with 20 different combinations, there is no other salon only treatment available like it! Nothing says quality quite like Kerastase. There's a product from their range to suit any hair type, and the difference you'll notice is instant.

Next up is fashion forward Redken, all the way from 5th Avenue, New York. This cool and funky brand has names such as Suki Warehouse and Lizzy Jagger as brand ambassadors, need I say more? My favourite from Redken is the All Soft range containing Argan Oil for dried out locks. It's good enough to drink! But please don't try this at home!

And last but by no means least, is Pureology. Fast becoming a cult favourite, the entire range prides itself on being eco friendly. All the packaging is 100% recyclable, it is vegan friendly and has built-in colour protection. You will fall in love with the aromatherapy fragrances of each range. My favourite is the Perfect for Platinum, purple in colour, "perfect" for banishing those dreaded brassy tones!
